Winter Wedding Wednesday - Knit to Perfection

Boy, is it cold out there! Temperatures are dropping and we’re looking for any excuse to stay inside the studio to keep warm! But more importantly, how are our brides going to stay warm during this winter chill? So, this week is all about braving the cold and staying warm!

Nothing says warm like wool (and no fabric says winter like a knit pattern!) Whether you are a DYI bride or a label-maven, all things knit are en vogue these days. Even if all you have mastered is Knit 2, Purl 2, you can create some beautiful wedding accents.

Check out this ring pillow from Etsy. A few delicate touches including lace and a pendant, give the pillow a vintage feel - which we love! Julie Schuett's fabulous hand made wrap is sure to keep you warm before saying I-Do (this wrap was recently featured in Minnesota Bride.) And don't forget the details - why not add yarn to your stationary? Anything from invitations to menu cards can use a little knit trim, as seen in this adorable stationary set featured on Martha Stewart!
